About Hizen Yoshida Ware
Hizen Yoshida Ware is a porcelain produced in the Yoshida district of Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture, known as a Hizen porcelain production area alongside Arita and Imari ware. Famous for thin, light, and durable white porcelain and blue-and-white everyday tableware, it holds a high share of the household tableware market as 'thin and light Yoshida ware.' Based on established porcelain craftsmanship, today it produces both mass-market tableware for domestic and overseas markets and individual artistic works, making it a key production area supporting Hizen's porcelain culture.
