About Inshu Washi Paper

Inshu Washi is handmade Japanese paper produced in Aoya Town and Mochigatani Town, Tottori Prefecture. With a history from the early Heian period, it is produced using clear streams and abundant kozo from the Inaba and Hoki region. Highly regarded as calligraphy paper, printmaking paper, and craft paper, it is known as a washi production area widely used in the art and calligraphy world.
